Hope Fadiga

For this project I started with a piece of vinyl and decided what I wanted my design to be. I chose to do a bee. Before i started carving this I drew a few thumbnails before then drawing it on a larger piece piece of paper. After drawing this on a piece of paper I began to carve it out and transfer it over to my screen. I used the use of lines in this image to show the proper shape of the insect. I also used repetition for the stripes on the body.
